High on a hill in the beachside suburb of Elanora on the Northern Beaches, we were introduced to this home mid-build and engaged to imbue it with the charm and sophistication it deserved.
A palette of crisp white and classic wainscoting, with accents of marble and brass, fulfilled the clients desire for an elevated take on a coastal, Hamptons-inspired home.
A space for cooking and gathering, the oversized kitchen commands the heart of the home. Key to its success is the butler’s pantry, a hidden spot with ample storage that enables the benchtop to be clutter-free, instantly transforming the kitchen into a glamorous space for entertaining.
The eye is instantly drawn up to the sky-high batten cathedral ceilings, a dramatic feature in the artfully composed living area. Enjoyed by a family of four plus visiting grandchildren, it’s a refined yet casual area designed to withstand small fingerprints. Spacious and relaxed, it echoes the open-plan layout of a Northern Beaches home.
We introduced a vintage rich navy rug and quilted midnight blue bench into the master bedroom, their plushness providing a beautiful contrast to the otherwise white colour scheme. Overlooking the coastline, the magnificent view from the large master bedroom takes the cake.
Exuding pared-back elegance, natural light drenches the main bathroom’s milky white herringbone floors and Calcutta Oro beading on the walls. In the powder room, we created a slimline vanity juxtaposed with stylised floral Florence Broadhurst wallpaper to add an element of surprise.
